2012 Watermark Broomball!

So it’s that time of year again: time to grab a broom, get on the ice, and sweep! Yup, that’s right, it’s time for Broomball!

Watermark’s annual Broomball game will be on Saturday, December 22nd from 9:30 – 12:00, which is right after Christmas play practice.

For those of you who don’t know what Broomball is, it’s a game that is very similar to ice hockey, but there are a few differences. Most importantly, instead of wearing skates, Broomball is played on shoes. Also, instead of a stick, the game is played with plastic brooms. Lastly, instead of a puck, a rubber ball is used.

This year, there are going to some changes to the Broomball procedure. Most importantly, the deadline to sign up is December 15th, no exceptions! We’re going to be very strict about the deadline this year so don’t sign up late!

Also, we’re inviting the Korean community from Holy Korean Martyrs to come play with us! Come mingle with our fellow Catholic brothers and sisters from another community as we share in this time of fun and games.
