恭讀依撒意亞先知書 A reading from the book of Prophet Isaiah 9:1—3，5—6
在黑暗中生活的人民看見了一道皓光，以往住在死亡陰影下的人們，現在已有光輝照射到他們身上。祢增加了他們的喜悅，祢賜給他們極大的歡樂，他們在祢面前歡欣，正像人們在收割農作物時的快樂，又像人們分享戰利品時的踴躍；因為祢粉碎了他們的枷鎖，折斷了他們肩上的橫木，摧毀了壓迫者的短棍，正像從前在米德楊那天一樣；因為有一個嬰孩為我們誕生了，有一個兒子賜給了我們；祂來統治我們，祂要被稱為奇妙的謀士、強有力的天主、永恆之父、和平之王。祂的王權偉大，祂的王國永享太平，祂要繼承達味的御座和他的王國，祂要以正義與公平來鞏固並維護祂的王國，從現在直到永遠；上主、萬軍的統帥決意要完成這一切。 —-上主的聖言
The people who walked in darkness have seen a great light; upon those who dwelt in the land of gloom a light has shone. You have brought them abundant joy and great rejoicing, as they rejoice before you as at the harvest, as people make merry when dividing spoils. For the yoke that burdened them, the pole on their shoulder, and the rod of their taskmaster you have smashed, as on the day of Midian. For a child is born to us, a son is given us; upon his shoulder dominion rests. They name him Wonder-Counselor, God-Hero, Father-Forever, Prince of Peace. His dominion is vast and forever peaceful, from David’s throne, and over his kingdom, which he confirms and sustains by judgment and justice, both now and forever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will do this! —-The Word of the Lord

- 答: 救世主今天為我們誕生了, 祂就是主基督。
- 你們要向上主高唱新歌；普世大地要向上主詠唱。向上主高唱, 高唱新歌, 普世大地要向上主詠唱。
- 你們要向上主歌唱讚美祂名，日復一日宣揚祂的救恩。在列邦中，傳述衪光榮，在萬民中宣揚祂的奇能。
- 蒼天和大地要歡欣鼓舞，海洋中的一切要踴躍歡騰，原野中的一切都要雀躍，森林中的樹木也要舞蹈。
- 因為上主己經駕臨，祂來審判乾坤；按正義審判普世，以信實對待萬民。

- Sing to the LORD a new song; sing to the LORD, all you lands. Sing to the LORD; bless his name.
- Announce his salvation, day after day. Tell his glory among the nations; among all peoples, his wondrous deeds.
- Let the heavens be glad and the earth rejoice; let the sea and what fills it resound; let the plains be joyful and all that is in them! Then shall all the trees of the forest exult.
- They shall exult before the LORD, for he comes; for he comes to rule the earth. He shall rule the world with justice and the peoples with his constancy.

恭讀保祿宗徒致弟鐸書
天主救眾人的恩寵已經顯示出來，教導我們捨棄罪惡的生活，和世俗的慾望，使我們在世度着自律的、公正的、虔誠敬主的生活，以期待所希望的幸福，就是我們偉大的天主及救主耶穌基督光榮的顯現。祂為我們捨棄了自己，是為把我們從一切罪惡中救贖出來，使我們能成為祂純潔的選民，熱心行善。 —-上主的聖言
A reading from the letter of Saint Paul to Titus 2:11—14
Beloved: The grace of God has appeared, saving all and training us to reject godless ways and worldly desires and to live temperately, justly, and devoutly in this age, as we await the blessed hope, the appearance of the glory of our great God and savior Jesus Christ, who gave himself for us to deliver us from all lawlessness and to cleanse for himself a people as his own, eager to do what is good. —-The Word of the Lord

聖路加福音 Luke 2:1—14
那時凱撒奧古斯都頒布諭旨，要羅馬帝國人民都辨理戶口登記： 這是在季黎諾作敘利亞總督時候，初次所作的。於是，所屬民眾都各回本鄉去辨理登記。若瑟因為是達味家族的人，便也從加里肋亞的納匝肋，到了猶大達味的故居－伯利恆，跟他已有身孕的妻子瑪利亞一同辨理登記。當他們在那裏的時候，瑪利亞的產期到了，就生了頭胎男兒，用布包起來，放在馬槽裏，因為在客棧裏他們找不到住宿的地方。這時正有些牧羊人在附近露宿，守夜看守羊羣。忽然有上主的一位天使站在他們的身邊，上主的榮光四面照射他們，使他們非常害怕。天使向他們說：「不要害怕！我現在給你們報告一個萬民的大喜訊：今天在達味的城裏，為你們誕生了一位救主，就是主默西亞。我告訴你們一個記號：你們要看見一個嬰兒，用布包着，躺在馬槽裏。」忽有一大隊天軍, 跟那天使一起出現, 讚頌天主說:「天主在天受受光榮，主愛的人在世享平安。」 —-基督的福音內
In those days a decree went out from Caesar Augustus that the whole world should be enrolled. This was the first enrollment, when Quirinius was governor of Syria. So all went to be enrolled, each to his own town. And Joseph too went up from Galilee from the town of Nazareth to Judea, to the city of David that is called Bethlehem, because he was of the house and family of David, to be enrolled with Mary, his betrothed, who was with child. While they were there, the time came for her to have her child, and she gave birth to her firstborn son. She wrapped him in swaddling clothes and laid him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the inn. Now there were shepherds in that region living in the fields and keeping the night watch over their flock. The angel of the Lord appeared to them and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were struck with great fear. The angel said to them, “Do not be afraid; for behold, I proclaim to you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. For today in the city of David a savior has been born for you who is Christ and Lord. And this will be a sign for you: you will find an infant wrapped in swaddling clothes and lying in a manger.” And suddenly there was a multitude of the heavenly host with the angel, praising God and saying: “Glory to God in the highest and on earth peace to those on whom his favor rests.” —-The Gospel of the Lord
